Barney Tsita was the Executive Director of both Shikisha Tyre and Rubber Company and FABCOS Trust. He has been involved in the development of the small and medium-size enterprise sector for a period spanning more that twenty years. Barney spent twelve of these years as a Senior Consultant of Business Development at the Centre for Developing Business, Wits Business School.

He also served as a Non-Executive Director of Pangbourne Properties Ltd, a JSE-listed property loan stock company and Chaired its Transformation Committee. Barney was previously on the Board of the South African Post Office Ltd. and was Chairman of the Risk Committee and member of the Audit Committee. He is currently the Chairman of Ninham Shand, a consulting engineering firm with its head office in Cape Town.

Barney currently chairs UniPalm’s Audit Committee.
